With a passion for storytelling and exploration, Carrie has travelled the length and breadth of Portugal and most of its islands while researching for her travel guides. Originally from South Yorkshire, England, she has lived in the Algarve for over 30 years, having moved there as a child, and is bilingual. She lives in the stunning Silves region with her three rescue dogs.
